We understand that plans change. This policy explains how to cancel or reschedule an appointment with Portage Appliance Repair, and when a fee may apply.
To cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 3 hours before the start of your scheduled appointment window. Same-day appointments booked at short notice may not be cancellable.
The quickest way to cancel or move your appointment is to call us and speak with a member of our team. Please do not rely on voicemail or an unanswered message, since a cancellation is only confirmed once you have spoken with us.
If you cancel with less than the required notice, or no one is available to give our technician access at the appointment, a fee may apply to cover the wasted visit. This fee is $125 CAD + applicable tax, and we will let you know if it applies.
If you need to cancel outside our hours, please call back once we are open (every day, 7am to 11pm) so a member of our team can confirm the change with you.
