Every repair completed by Portage Appliance Repair is backed by a 90-day warranty on parts and labour. This page explains what that covers and how to arrange a follow-up if you need one.

1. What we cover

If the same problem we repaired comes back within 90 days of the original repair, contact us and we will arrange a follow-up visit at no extra labour cost. The warranty covers the specific work carried out and the parts we replaced during that repair.

2. What the warranty does not cover

The warranty applies to the original repair only. It does not cover:

  • Other parts or faults of the appliance that were not part of the original repair
  • Any claim made after the 90-day period has ended
  • Clogs or blockages
  • Damage from misuse, user error, or improper use of the appliance
  • Damage caused directly or indirectly by the user
  • Foreign objects that enter pumps, motors or other moving parts
  • A new fault that requires a different replacement part

3. Our approach

Wherever we can, we repair rather than replace. It keeps your costs down and gets more life out of your appliance. When a part does need replacing, we use quality components and stand behind the work for the full 90 days.
